My favourite place to stay in Belfast! Absolutely fantastic staff. So friendly and welcoming and little touches like this that you would never get from some of the big city center hotels. Always enjoy my stay in Tara Lodge.
The Tara Lodge was easily one of the top hotels we stayed at during our two week trip around Ireland. Very quaint hotel with welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff (refreshing based on our other experiences). Loved the holiday decorations (Halloween at the time). Parking was easy and secure behind the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the servers were hustling! Rooms were clean and the beds/shower were good. Very fairly priced for the experience. Our only gripe was the location as it's a bit off from the city's main attractions and not easily walkable however it is close to the train station.
Really want to give 5 stars for all but the parking lot is very challenging as the parking lot is super small with columns in the middle, not easy for a rental car driver who’s used to drive on opposite side of the road. Breakfast is amazing, front desk lady is so helpful - we left the bags in storage prior check in, and when we came back the bags were in room already - thank you Kirsten. This is the best hotel we stayed for the weeklong Ireland trip (4 different hotels total). Location isn’t too bad, about 15 min walk to city center. I’m glad I decided this one over the titanic hotel
Recently refurbished to a good standard. Nice warm cosy rooms. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Superb location, just off Botanic Ave. Amazing value too. Looking forward to returning

Wow, what a gem of a hotel. If you are visiting Belfast you have to stay here. The staff (especially Sophie & Millie) were so friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean & the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice for all diets. The off street parking was an added bonus. I will definitely stay here again, & would gladly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel. Breakfast’s are beautiful & staff are really attentive. Lovely little touches in the room- fresh milk, toiletries etc.. would definitely stay again!
Very friendly staff, a lovely first impression. Rooms, bed and bathroom all extremely comfortable and breakfast was delicious. All in all well worth the price. Will definitely be staying again when in Belfast.
